The importance of volunteering:

Poverty around the world has left millions of people without the bare necessities such as food, water, shelter and good health. We take for granted these necessities which we have generously available to us. That’s why we need people like you to volunteer your time in whatever way you can so collectively we can give something back to those in need.

World Appeal has currently ongoing projects that is changing the lives of many and this is a great time to get in touch and help.

There are so many ways to get involved, from basic warehouse work, packing, driving and volunteering in our offices. Whether it’s minutes or months, hours or days, the time you give really does matter.

As a World Appeal volunteer, you will:

• Make a meaningful difference to people affected by poverty and oppression.
• Receive any necessary training for your role and have access to the ongoing development.
• Have the opportunity to influence our work.
• Meet likeminded people and become part of the World Appeal team.
• Help with outdoor activities to help raise funds.
• Help with allotment to showcase sustainability and importance of organic grown food which can help in the Kitchen handouts.
• Advise youth during holidays and keep them busy with voluntary work.
