This project proposes the construction and operation of a small, purpose-built maternity and basic medical facility to support women and newborns in a remote rural area of Kenya. The facility is designed to be operated by two qualified nurses and will provide safe space for low-risk deliveries, antenatal checks, short postnatal observation, and basic medicine dispensing

In Ramadan if a person is unable to fast because he is elderly or sick with no hope of recovery, then he is not obliged to fast. Instead he should feed one poor person for each day (Fidyah).
Zakat al-Fitr is a form of charity given to the poor at the end of Ramadan.
Zakat al-Fitr is due on every member of a household, including any children or elderly persons and is obligatory to pay before the day of Eid.
In this first education project in Kenya, World Appeal will be providing quality education to almost 150 boys and girls from Tana River County, Yokowo Village in a safe and supportive environment through the construction of an infrastructure with quality education, curriculum, discipline and extracurricular activities.
